New York-based Lexington Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust focused on single-tenant industrial real estate investments, revealed that the Board of Trustees appointed T. Wilson Eglin, Chief Executive Officer and President, as Chairman of the Board.
According to a prepared statement, E. Robert Roskind resigned as non-executive Chairman and a Trustee to pursue other interests, effective March 31, 2019.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Richard S. Frary, Lexington’s lead independent Trustee, commented, “We thank Robert for his dedicated service since the founding of Lexington and we wish him well in his endeavors. We are pleased to appoint Will as Lexington’s new Chairman and look forward to supporting his strategic vision in leading the company forward.”
Mr. Eglin, a Trustee since 1994, will continue to maintain his Chief Executive Officer and President roles.
