Is CyrusOne a Great Place to Work?

Dallas based CyrusOne, a premier global data center REIT, has been certified as a Great Place to Work by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work. The recognition was earned based on extensive ratings from CyrusOne employees in anonymous surveys.

“We are humbled to be recognized as one of the best places to work in the United States. This recognition is only possible from the support and dedication of our CyrusOne family across the globe. What separates CyrusOne from other companies is our culture,” says Kellie Teal-Guess, chief people officer at CyrusOne.

“Our team members stay with us because we strive to help our customers, our local communities, and each other, while having fun in the process. Receiving this award confirms that the culture we’ve established – from volunteer outings to employee benefits – is the right one, and we look forward to continuing to develop that culture with our employees.”

“It is no secret the engine behind our growth over the years is our passionate and dedicated team,” said Gary Wojtaszek, CEO of CyrusOne. “We have won a number of awards, but this is truly special. We are a family at CyrusOne, we cheer for each other, we grow with each other, and we celebrate with each other.”

The results are based on 293 employee surveys, resulting in a 90 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ± 2.62. According to the study, 97 percent of CyrusOne employees agree that when they look at what the company has accomplished, they feel a sense of pride, and 96 percent of employees say they are proud to tell others where they work. CyrusOne also scored high marks in employee satisfaction in the workplace, including atmosphere (98 percent), pride (98 percent), rewards (98 percent), communication (97 percent) and bosses (97 percent).

“According to our study, 93 percent of CyrusOne’s employees say it is a great workplace,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Great Place to Work’s Senior Editor.

CyrusOne employs nearly 425 people in its 43 data centers within the US, as well as locations in Europe and Singapore. A few of the benefits employees receive include paid time off to volunteer, maternity and paternity leave and a 401k matching program. The company is continuing to expand, with a strategic partnership in China and recent land purchases in Northern Virginia and Mesa, Arizona. It opened its downtown Dallas, Texas headquarters in 2017.
